[Steam] The Necromancer's Tale

Hi all,

what do we have here? It's a mixed-categories-game. I would call it an adventure with RPG-Elements. :)

  • During Character Creation: don't spend character points - deactivate before filling the last point to be able to continue

  • buy something for setting gold to 9999

  • Name

  • runSpeed

  • walkSpeed

  • actionPoints

  • strength

  • agility

  • constitution

  • energy

  • courage

Hint: I'd clearly suggest to use the table at the character creation and push character stats to max before even starting the adventure, Because most of the stats seem not to be linked with the character in memory, at least I did not find them :)

Fun Fact: there's a value in the "character" table named "IAmThePlayer". Guess what, that value is always zero, even and especially at the player. I want to gentle the programmer's faces. With a chair.

Is it possible to update this? The 1-point feature doesnt work right now.

Is this still working? Also, would it be possible to ask for instructions please? It's my first time doing using a table and would really appreciate it!

I have literally no idea. To find out, I would have to install the game and try it. Ususally I only find out that the game has changed and my table is not working anymore by someone mentioning it in the thread here.

Reason: regularly checking wether all my tables are still working or not would be quite annoying since I made over 120 tables :)

Using a table is quite easy.

  • start the game and load your savegame / start a new game

  • alt-tab out of the game

  • launch cheat engine

  • optional: click on the little PC-Icon in the upper left and select your game. So Cheat Engine will attach itself to the game, it simply needs to know which game we are trying to cheat. You can skip this step because the table can automatically attach itself to your game, see next step.

  • in this table you'll see only one entry in the table, named "<=== Attach to process and activate mono" which will, as the name suggests, automatically open the process of the game in cheat engine for you and then it will display the available cheat options

  • select the cheats you want to use by clicking on the checkbox on the left. If there is a 'X' in the Checkbox, the cheat is successfully activated

  • the entries itself should be self-explaining, For example the section "Use ony during Character Creation!" contains entries which can be, well, only used during the creation of your character.

Unfortunately the unlimited point system for character creation doesn't work anymore. I'll check the unlimited money soon. Thank you so much for the response and the little guide though!

might be a bit late but i recently tried it to add more skills to my constitution to get more dialogue but its not changing, dunno if its on my end or it stopped working im a newbie at this so trying to update/fix this is hard lmao

You did nothing wrong, the values found are looking great. with some emphasizing on "looking", because, as written in my initial post "most of the stats seem not to be linked with the character in memory". Means: we can edit the values as we want, but the game simply does not care.

Haven't been able yet to find the actual values / the code which changes them.
