Strange that it can't unpack it. Perhaps it's already unpacked? If so, edit the "Apply All Patches.bat" script and remove the -u.

You either already patched the executable or you accidentally passed the launcher, GBVSR.exe, to the patcher instead of the actual game executable, GBVSR-Win64-Shipping.exe, located in .\RED\Binaries\Win64\

its my first time using this but how do i exactly use this? is there like a guide on how to do everything, where do i get the GBVSR-Win64-Shipping.exe and lastly how often do i have to this patching thingy is it every update/patch or every time i open the game sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance

where do i get the GBVSR-Win64-Shipping.exe

As I explained a couple posts before, you can find the GBVSR-Win64-Shipping.exe located in .\RED\Binaries\Win64\
.\ being the current/relative directory which can be presumed as the game's install directory. Don't know where that is? Google it.

how often do i have to this patching thingy

Any time the executable gets overwritten, which is generally whenever a new patch comes out. You can just keep the patcher and batch script in the same location as the game executable and run the batch script any time the game updates.

Also, to use the batch script, you can just drag the game executable on top of it. There are technically other ways of doing it, but, for simplicity's sake, just drag and drop.
