nevermind, i figured it out. Download both files GeoGBVSRPatcher.7z and patches.7z and use the GHM file in patches.7z

However, I do notice that color 23 (white + blue) doesn't load properly on some characters like Vaseraga

Hello, how do i turn off the super ultimate control scheme? i selected the manual scheme in game and it still plays like the super ultimate one and its desyncing when i try to play with a friend

I used the patches but i used the cheat table to try and fix it
they were the latest one and i used all the patches since i used the apply all patches bat
i do admit i had the cheat table and patches at the same directory as the game because i had no idea what i was doing, but when i made my friend patch the game without downloading the cheat table the same thing happened to him, he was only able to play as if he was on the super ultimate control scheme
i assume this is an issue with me using the apply all patches bat? but i didnt see any patches relating to that

I'm having the same issue described above.
I applied the latest GBVSRpatcher.rar and used the individual patches.ghm, because otherwise I get the online error.

So, the issue CarelessCC was having was related to misusing the patcher. I tested it with him and the likely possibility was he patched an already modified executable again. This caused my patcher to patch unintended areas creating weird side effects. After providing him with a clean/unmodified executable (just kidding I would never share copyrighted binaries with someone, right?~~), and patching it with the latest patches.ghm file, the game was acting normally.

Just a reminder, for anyone using my patches, only patch a clean/unmodified executable. Also, when you do patch it only once, the original, clean executable should be renamed with a ".bak" file extension.

Are you having the exact issue he was having? If so, be sure to patch the game from a clean/unmodified executable. Everything I've tested on my end seems to function normally. Also you mentioned a "GBVSRpatcher.rar". I never provided a ".rar" file. I'm not going to make any assumptions, so not knowing if this was misspoken or actually true, I'm not going to suggest anything until you provide even more details/context.

Now that GG Strive have a battle pass as well, would you be willing to port this patcher to Strive?
