Would it be possible to completely disable / control the encounter rate?

Sorry, I’m not very good at this kind of cheat.
Basically, for “no encounter on the field” type cheats, the general approach might go like this:
Let’s say the game rolls a random number each step — for example, from integer 0 to 100 (or maybe float, double with different range: 0-1 or something)
Just guess if it rolls >90, you get a battle; otherwise, you don’t.
-
After the first encounter, start searching in CE with an Unknown initial value.
-
Each time you walk a step without an encounter, use Decreased value or something (“Compare to first scan”) to narrow it down.
-
If you get into a battle, you can ignore that round or assume the number increased (do not check “Compare to first scan” at this time).
-
Eventually, the value range should narrow down enough to test which address might control the encounter trigger.
For UE5 games, there might be other methods, but SE’s UE5 titles tend to hide some of the important pointers.
That’s not really a problem for the experts out there — but I’m just an amateur.
To be honest, the cheats I make aren’t that hard to create; they just require time and patience.

I'm not good at English. I use a translation site.
I've found a few cheats myself.
I hope this helps as a cheat table reference.
- Item table starting address
- Address for the first item in shops
- Triggers effect even without the Sigil
- Souped-Up skills condition: HP is below 50% ON

Hi, it's good to see more guys share their tables.
BTW, you could create a new thread and post you table and revise table if needed there. This make users easy to search and find yours. they don't need to read every post and check which one is last updated.

100% steal rate please
The table will stay as current functions as possible.
I already completed the game with full achievements.
It will be easy to me, if just set enemy's HP to a high value, then player have to try to steal several times.
Well, I don't think anyone need it...

Falcon Sword of Ruin and War Drum only get stolen from enemies in this game... it's annoying to even try to steal them as the steal rate is so low.
Is there a way to add a shop inventory editor to DQ II?

I'm not sure but maybe yuka's table will provide this.

Item IDs are determined when the game launches, so you'll need to examine the item table.
I've included the IDs for “Falcon Sword of Ruin” and “War Drum”; please overwrite the value for Shop Item 1.
