The Long Dark
This very simple cheat table for The Long Dark does one thing. It allows console commands to be used, even though the UI for the console has been removed by the developer. There are so many useful cheats in the console already, there is no need to add any other custom scripts. For the full list of commands, visit: https://the-long-dark-modding.fandom.co ... e_commands
Here are some examples:
-
god - enables / disables god mode (needs to be reenabled after area transitions)
-
force_gear_weight - forces the total carry weight to a fixed value (i.e. 1 KG)
-
reset_forced_gear_weight - restores the default gear weight behavior
-
timescale - set the speed that the game runs at
Unlike the Developer Console mod for TLD, this cheat table works with all store fronts and versions of the game. This includes support for the Microsoft Store (aka Xbox for PC, aka PC Game Pass) version of The Long Dark which cannot be modified by Melon Loader. For Microsoft Store users, just remember to find "tld.exe" in the Cheat Engine Processes list, not "TheLongDark" in the Applications list.
