Trainer Posting Requirements

Post by Marcus101RR »

Trainers are stand-alone executables, and nothing more than a secondary application running in the background for games to be modified. It is important to understand some of the requirements needed to be able to post and accept trainers here. Some users may use this as an attempt to post malicious code hidden in their trainers to get more than what was asked for. We are here to set the record straight on being able to post trainers.

Public Trainers
These types of trainers are known as for being open source, available to anyone, easy to compile and ready to use.

Private Trainers
These types of trainers are known for being closed source, available, however, no way to get a source for it and be able to update it manually unless the author does.

Requirements for Posting & Releasing
To prevent confusion, and possible loop-holes, we provide some requirements for posting trainers. For obvious reasons, previous experience, release in other locations, cheat tables made prior all can help your reputation and speed up the process. However, we still require you to provide these steps to pass the trainer as valid, functional, and safe.

Public & Private Trainers

  • You must provide the source code via Github, and it must be as-is compileable for any user. This includes any assemblies, references, and packages needed to compile it successfully.

  • You must provide a full Virus Total Scan result for the executable.

  • If you wish to be private, your source code must be vouched by one of our Administrators or Moderators before you can post and release your trainer to the public.

In the event of Private, source code and the provided instructions must be valid for compiling so that our Administators or Moderators can fully test the trainer "as-is". Visual Studio should be the default the tool to compile all sources.
