Only tested in "The Ivalice Chronicles" storyline with 3 battles only.

Cheat Engine / Cheat table scripts:

    □Toggle Compact View
    □Battle: selected char (LT or click)
        □EXP
        □Lv
        □Base stats+
        □Attributes+
        □Loc+
        □JP+
    □Battle: player side HP/MP/XP/Others
        □Battle: JP multiplier to all
        □Battle: XP multiplier
        □Battle: JP XP multiplier
        □Battle: keep min brave/faith after action
        □Battle: damage multiplier
            □Enable Check point #2
        □Battle: set min jmp/mov/spd/atk...
    □Browse & set item amount (non-equipped)
    □Browse & set poach materials amount
    □Fast tavern errands (儲け話) complete
    □Get money
    □Map: Status menu: get characters data
        □Generate list
            □Get selected char address
                □Expand selected char
                □(Auto mode) Expand selected char
            □Modify all JP value to 8000, if not zero
            □Modify all JP EXP value to 1200, if not zero
            □Modify all EXP value to 99

  • Script will auto attach game process to "FFT_enhanced.exe" when you active "Toggle scripts". That means this table is not for "FFT_classic.exe".
  • The game installation folder has two binaries: FFT_classic.exe & FFT_enhanced.exe. I did not test classic version. It may not work. even you change table scripts.
  • "poach" will not work when damage multiplier is not 1

About Different Base Jobs
There are some characters that have different base jobs.
All jobs use the first position of "Fundamentals", and they all share the same memory address (same as "Fundamentals") to store ability information.

Note:
Editing data with this table allows a character to use special abilities from other jobs.
However, it’s still restricted by the weapon the character has equipped.

Example:
If the main character wants to use Swordplay abilities, he must be equipped with a sword.
If the character wants to use Limit abilities, he must be equipped with a materia sword.

How to setup:

Edit data when outside units menu is recommended.

  • Enable all base job action abilities. (locate character by enable "Get selected char address" -> "Expand selected char"

  • Change related slot to desired ability. Example below: set sub action to Cloud's limit break (But, have to equip related weapon like materia sword)

This is a great table, is there a way you can add the ability to unlock Ultima for Ramza and Zodiark for any character?

It depends on how we can find the difference. If the char already learned the skill, I do not have data to compare what's the difference after get ths skill, then it will be hard.

This game code style is very old. I think the program code is porting from console game directly without major modification. Skills, spells, buffs and debuffs are all stored in single bit. Some data stored in 4 bits (like jobs Lv, but I did not implement them in table). This means a single byte stored two level info. for different jobs.
In old game console, memory is "expensive". So programmer will try to reduce memory and disk storage by using bit mapped data.

Back to your question, for Ultima spell, it should be a bit switch.
The possible location is around 126+ byte offset of char's job ID.

Thank you for the CT! I'm looking to use the Dancer's sprite for one of my generic female characters so that it stays on her even when changing jobs. This CT allows me to do that with most other jobs, so is there any way you can add the dancer sprite as an option as well? Thanks either way!

Hello. I am using v11 table but "Expand selected char" does not work.
My setup:

Windows 11
Cheat Engine 7.6 (run as administrator)
Steam version Final Fantasy Tactics Enhanced (tried both English and Japanese)

Problem:

Check Map: Status menu: get characters data → Works OK
Check Generate list → Works OK
Select character (Ramza) in game
Check Get selected char address → Address is found (example: 13FEE0020, value: 00000001411A1B58)
Check Expand selected char → Error window appears for 1 second and disappears
Lua Engine shows "No character selected (address is 0)"

But the selected address has correct value. Why does expand not work?
Please help me fix this problem.

What value you changed to modify sprite? I did modify sprite myself.

I have almost the same environment setup with yours.
But I cannot reproduce this problem.
The script is used to find "Type/Char ID" address value. Starting from node "+List (do not delete this)", if address value is match, it will expand the node (in this example, address value = 1411A1B58)

If you know how to add pointers, you can add fields under "Get selected char address". It will work as char editor.

Is JP EXP the same thing as JP?
It doesn't seem to increase the JP ...

Rather, is there an option just to multiply the JP?
I can't find it.

Not the same. If it didn't work, just ignore or disable it.
Edit JP Exp in character stat if needed.

JP exp grow faster = get JP faster.
