The Item Forge 2 method works only for weapons. And only sometimes. Every time I've tried to Reforge/Forge Armor, the game crashes on trying to save.
Edit: On further testing, it's only SOME items--like the Active Suit or Lion Helm--that cause crashes on trying to save the game after reforging them.
At least I did not have any problem when I play game with the script (What I did in the video).
But if SE upgrade the game executable, it may not work.
