Just a few simple cheats to help with items amts. PLEASE read the item descriptions here and heed the warnings. DEACTIVATE all cheats immediately when you're not using them.
Troubleshooting: if cheat engine throws a warning/error when you try to activate a cheat (some kind of memory warning), then cancel the activation, deactivate all cheats, exit cheat engine, and restart/re-attach cheat engine. The cheats should hopefully work then. Else, move around and play the game a bit, and then hopefully the cheat can activate just fine with no warning/error. DO NOT ignore the warning/error, else the game will crash (and other bad things can happen)
Cheats:
Don't lose ammo in inventory when shooting
- still need to reload
No need to reload
- ALWAYS use with the above cheat.
- Your ammo clip will go down to 0, but you'll still keep shooting without needing to reload
Items (including Regeneration) not reduced on usage/discard
- works for using items in shortcuts, quick menu, and in main item menu.
- CAUTION: might not want to keep it on all the time. It might make it so key items don't properly leave the inventory (I haven't checked)
Healing Casket forma doesn't use up Rejuvination
- this is a different cheat independent of the "Items not reduced" cheat.
869 of stored item upon highlight in storage menu box (WARNING: acts on ALL items upon tab change)
- go to storage at a mistle, and switch to the items in the storage box (not the inventory items). THEN you can activate this glitch and highlight different items in storage to change their amounts. Then IMMEDIATELY deactivate the cheat. DO NOT SWITCH TABS, or else a bunch of unintended values can get changed.
99/20/10/1 of item upon highlighting in main item menu
- turn on ONLY once you're in the main item menu and going to highlight different items.Turn off IMMEDIATELY when done. DO NOT SWITCH TABS in the item menu, else a bunch of unintended values can be written to.
- the version of this cheat to write an amt of 1 is in case you fuck up and accidentally write too many of an item to something. You seemingly can have over the limit for items (e.g. 99/20 shotgun shells), but I haven't tested it really, so ere on the side of caution.
Blood Code proficiency almost max upon highlighting in INVENTORY menu
- In your main inventory menu (NOT the blood code equip menu), tab over to the blood codes, go adjacent (to the left or right) of the blood code whose proficiency you want to change. THEN activate the cheat, and move over to highlight the desired blood code.
- WARNING: do NOT accidentally highlight an already mastered blood code. It might break things (I don't know, haven't tested it).
- There's a different code to almost master the different ranks of blood code (e.g. E rank has its own code, D rank has its own code). DO NOT accidentally use a higher-rank cheat on a lower-rank blood code.
- WARNING: DEACTIVATE this code ASAP when it's no longer being actively used.
P.S.: there's a reference cheat at the end for ichor. DON'T use it. But in the comments at the end, it points out the address of an instruction that accesses ichor (among other things). You can go to that address and find out what the instruction accesses, and then use some ichor. That'll get you your ichor value, which you can fix in place if you want. You're not getting better than that at the moment, since it'd require a bit more effort for me to make an actual cheat for this @.@.
As always, be safe, and only activate cheats rarely when you're gonna use them, then turn them off ASAP.
TODO: I might make a Hero mode cheat (MC can take damage, but not die) and a God mode cheat (instant kill enemies). No promises.
