Great table. I especially like manipulating items/inventory and the materia XP modified. I always thought materia grew a little too slow. 👍

Please use this table carefully. Everyone knows that using CE to modify data is at your own risk.
Normally, I remind people to always back up their save files, but this time I didn’t do so.

As a result, I ran into a problem in one chapter (I forgot which one). It was a land-and-seashore area after a city chapter. There was an NPC (named Johnny, or something similar, since I was playing with Japanese subtitles) who asked me to collect quest items. The required number of items exceeded 3, which triggered the item modification script and caused the quest to become impossible to progress.

Although this does not affect the main storyline, it may affect achievements. (EDIT: I reset quest in hard mode, so I get the quest going)
I don’t remember if I added that Item ID to the exclude list or not. Please be careful when you reach that point.

Trying to add a ap up material. Missed one in mine and don't want to wait to chapter select to get it. When i click on get item list nothing happens.
I know it is working cause i edited my gil.

Maybe my release note was not so clearly. I'll revise it.

If you mean add a new one -- The table does not provide this function. Edit memory directly may work? I didn't try. It's more complex than edit an existing one. If you edit materia from "Get item list", that 100% won't work.
Instead add a new one, modify existing materia worked in my saves.

Gil, materia and equipment have different data format. Gil is simple -- it's just a record there. In game's data design, gil is just an item like potion.
I know materia have at least two places to store the data. Both ID must be the same, or the materia will disappear (modify it back will appear again). Have to change materia data from "Get materia XP data". Change materia ID is working in my saves, so I release it. It may not work in your environment.

Same as weapon data, it have at least two places to store related data. Edit weapon data from item list won't get anything.

Here is how I change materia ID:

  1. Enable Script

  2. Open Items menu, select materia sub menu, browse ALL materias

  3. Below example is change materia from Precision Defense to another. I set filter to "13111 : Precision Defense"

  4. Enable "Generate materia XP list"

  5. Expand "+Materias (do not delete this)"

  6. Choose one of materia from list, I choose one that is zero exp (easy to identify).

  7. Change both ID to desired materia ID

  8. Check if materia changed. Leave Items menu and enter again to check.

  9. In case if failed, switch both ID back in CE.

  10. Deactivate "Generate materia XP list" when done

I add it into table under "Mini games" section.
But I cannot verify it now. Not sure if it will function as we excepted.

EDIT: confirmed for current game version. Final rank will be SS.
